PUEBLO, CO – A federally funded program that brought nearly $100 million dollars into Pueblo County and greatly enhanced the community’s emergency preparedness and response for more than 30 years will be sunsetting soon. The Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP), administered by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, is expected to terminate by the end of this year now that the chemical stockpile at the Pueblo Chemical Depot has been safely eliminated.
