On March 22, 2007 Carl Thomas Coen , born 01/23/70 was taken into custody at approximately 10:00 AM on the Valco Property at 5475 Hwy 96 by members of the Colorado Parks Officers, Pueblo Police Department Officers and Pueblo County Sheriff Deputies. At that location 4 members of a Colorado State Parks Maintenance Crew and 4 members of the Colorado Parks Officers witnessed Coen attempting to steal copper wire from a barge which had been tied on all four sides to the bank . The barge is used to supply electricity to a pump. When the barge was checked, it had been moved to the side and large copper wires on it had been cut into sections, the terminal box had been damaged with electrical wires removed and the wires to the pump had also been removed.
Valco employees and those from a local electric company estimate that to replace the cut wires and repair all the connections will cost $15,860.00.
Coen has been charged with Criminal Mischief over $15,000.00, Criminal Attempt Theft $500.00 – $1500.00, Trespassing and Possession of Burglary Tools. He was booked into and remains in the Pueblo County Jail.
March 14, 2007
On March 12, 2007 at approximately 12:20PM Deputies from the Pueblo County Sheriffâ€™s Office were dispatched to the Comfort Inn at 77 S. Radnor Dr in Pueblo West on a medical problem in Room 116. Upon arrival at that room, patrol deputies found a large amount of narcotics paraphernalia and possible narcotics in plain sight.
Narcotics officers from the PCSO obtained a search warrant for the room. Upon serving the warrant deputies located 7.3 gross grams of a brown rock substance that field tested positive for heroin, 5 syringes one of which had suspected methamphetamine, $6800.00 in U.S. Currency, 3 glass smoking pipes, 1 digital scale and other assorted drug paraphernalia.
Three people were taken into custody
Melanie Rana Ordahl, dob 10/21/1983 of Colorado Springs, CO for possession of a controlled substance
Randolph Sean McNamara, dob 10/23/1977 of Colorado Springs, CO for Unlawful use of a controlled substance
Terrie Lynn McNamara, dob 01/23/1976 of Pueblo West, CO for possession of a Schedule II Substance
All three were booked into Pueblo County Jail and remain there at this time.
In addition to this situation and the arrest of Evan Andrews in Pueblo West on 03/09/2007, a 17 year old male student at Pueblo West High School was taken into custody on03/09/2007 in the parking lot of the high school for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute. He was found to have.124 ounces of marijuana, a metal pipe used for smoking marijuana and a digital scale in his vehicle on the school grounds.

On March 09, 2007, Pueblo County Sheriffâ€™s Deputies executed a search warrant on a residence located at 177 East Birch Hills Dr., Pueblo West, CO. This search produced approximately 140 individually wrapped â€œrocksâ€ of crack cocaine. The estimated street value of the drug is $6000. Also seized in the search were 2 vehicles and $8,051. The residence was occupied by 29year old Evan Andrews, his wife and infant child. Andrews, who is on Parole for previous drug offenses, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Distribute. The infant child was removed from the home and placed into the care of Pueblo County Department of Social Services.
