Dive Rescue/Recovery Team
The mission of The Dive Team is to provide underwater rescue and recovery capability to the citizens of Pueblo County. The team is comprised of PADI Certified Divers and support personnel. All divers are trained for underwater search, rescue and recovery. Additionally, each diver is certified in open water diving, and most have advanced training in open water diving, water rescue and functioning in fast moving water.
The all volunteer Dive Team schedules monthly training challenges to orient and train new members while maintaining the skills and equipment of new members. Dive Team members are subject to calls at any time and are available by pager and radio.
